How Do You Seek Happiness?

October 27, 2011

Be happy, letUbeU

Recently I finished reading The Art of Happiness written by The Dalai Lama and Howard C. Cutler. I’d like to share it with you. The first sentence of the book is from the Dalai Lama:

I believe that the very purpose of our life is to seek happiness.

Sometimes finding happiness means accepting and overcoming unhappiness. This next passage is from Howard Cutler at the end of Chapter 8:

Thus it is entirely appropriate that we seek out the causes of our unhappiness and do whatever we can to alleviate our problems, searching for solutions on all levels–global, societal, familial, and individual.

I use SCIENCE to seek out causes of unhappiness and alleviate those problems. What do you use? Thank you for reading, stay happy and letUbeU!
