February 6, 2012

Our population has surpassed 7,000,000,000 and our rate of consumption of money & energy is increasing. As individuals there are large steps we can take to curb consumption, and there are baby steps. So here are 3 simple baby steps you can use in your everyday life to limit energy consumption and save a little money:

2) UNPLUG UNUSED CELL PHONE, MP3 & LAPTOP CHARGERS – This funny 30 second kids video from the Department of Energy sums it up well. Seriously, it’s hilarious: Lose Your Excuse

3) 1 SQUARE ÷ 4 = 4 SQUARES – Excluding any trips to Famous Dave’s BBQ, I am usually able to keep myself clean with a 6x6in paper towel, and don’t require the full 12x12in. Paper towel costs are cut by 75% and waste is limited.
