Death of Our Oceans

Feeding 7 Billion people and managing their waste is a difficult task and the declining health of Planet Earth’s oceans is collateral damage. If we work together we can figure this out, but step 1 to recovery is awareness. In case you missed these stories about the state of the oceans, here they are. You’ll be done reading them both in 10 minutes and please pass them on:

In one story from the BBC, scientists warn that ocean life is “at high risk of entering a phase of extinction of marine species unprecedented in human history.”

In the other story, “the Mississippi [River] has also become an accomplice in the deaths and displacement of countless marine animals — not to mention the economic suffering of humans who depend on them.”
