1000’s of people were on Museum Campus to attend Adler Planetarium’s unique, special event of the century. Only the 7th time in recorded history have humans seen a Transit of Venus. This astronomical event will not happen again until 2117. So if you missed the excitement on this bright day, here are 3 photos that describe #AdlerTOV, where humanity congregated to celebrate the awesomeness of nature (check back in the next week for a few photos of the happy smiles I found at Adler, including Sara’s):
